A special thank you to our volunteers on the day, Theresa and Catherine, who assisted WSP in leading this walk. Well done to everybody for taking part on a fresh Sunday morning.
The next walk takes place on Sunday 16th February along the Cliff Walk, Ardmore. The meeting point is the Cliff House Hotel car park at 10am but please park in the village. This is an easy looped 5km walk along the cliff tops with spectacular views. The cliff walk at Ardmore has an amazingly diverse range of flora, comprising of 113 species of wildflower, grasses and fern including orchids, wild thyme and blue scabious. The Ardmore Cliff Walk is also a birdwatchers paradise and is home to a host of Coastal birds. Other birds such as Rock Pipits, Pheasant, Kestrel, Peregrine Falcons occupy the habitat.
All walkers will need suitable walking shoes (runners are ideal), warm clothing and a waterproof jacket. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
