Waterford Public Participation Network seeks representatives for Waterford Sports Partnership Board

Waterford Sports Partnership (WSP) is seeking expressions of interest from the Waterford Public Participation Network (PPN) for four positions on its Board.

One person from each of the following areas of interest in sport and physical activity is required:
1. Disability e.g. Disability sports club, disability organisation promoting physical activity
2. Sports Club e.g. coach, committee member
3. Youth e.g. Youth club/organisation
4. Community health/sport/physical activity e.g. Community leisure centre, community group/organisation promoting sport/physical activity as part of its activities, etc

Expressions of Interest must be made directly to the PPN to mtobin@waterfordcouncil.ie by Wednesday 11th March 2015 and must include Name, Organisation, Contact details, Area(s) of interest.

NB: Those who have expressed an interest may later be asked to complete a short profile outlining their area of interest, knowledge and involvement in sport and physical activity and experience in governance.  Prior to selection a process to ensure the needs of WSP and the interests of the PPN are an appropriate fit may be required e.g. meeting with all nominees.
