Training for Developing a Drug and Alcohol Policy

Are you a sports club that would like to develop a drugs and alcohol policy for young people in your club? What would you do if you found drugs/alcohol at a training session or a sporting event that your club organised? Or if your best young sporting athlete was involved with steroids?
Waterford Sports Partnership, in collaboration with Community Based Drug Initiative's and the HSE, will hold a four and a half hour workshop spread out over three days. The focus will be on how to implement a drugs policy within your club, particularly when working with young people.

The workshop will be run over 3 days - on Thursday 15th, 22nd and 28th November from 12pm-1.30pm at the Millennium Building, Lisduggan. This is a free event and is open to all sports clubs in Waterford City.
