As part of the Waterford Sports Partnership Club Development Seminar Series 2015 we are hosting a Injury Prevention & Prehabilitation Workshop for all sports on Monday 5th October from 6.30 to 9.30pm at Coláiste Chathail Naofa in Dungarvan.

Injury Prevention & Prehabilitation a workshop for all sports
Monday 5th October | 6.30 to 9.30pm
Coláiste Chathail Naofa, Youghal Road, Dungarvan
This interactive Workshop will cover:
- Screening of athletes to help recognise particular injury risks
- Prehabilitation exercises for certain injury risks
- How to implement these in warm ups and cool downs in training sessions.
Attendees should leave the workshop with an understanding of how to recognise players
at risk of injury and how to best manage that risk through prehab exercises.
Workshop Presenter | Ross Corbett

Ross is a Strength & Conditioning Coach based in Limerick. Ross currently works with Limerick GAA and their u21 hurlers, the University of Limerick's Fitzgibbon Cup team along with a range of athletes from various sports. Ross is currently completing an MSc in Strength and Conditioning with Setanta College. In the past, Ross has worked with a range of sports from tennis, soccer, rugby and all gaelic games codes. Ross was employed by the Camogie Association as a Development Officer for the Munster region up to September 2015 and still currently works as a coach education tutor for the Association on their foundation, level one and level 2 courses.
