Our work to date with our Project FUTSAL students has been outstanding with many hours of community work achieved in schools, clubs, and with football for all groups, having Waterford United FC on board we feel will be a fantastic partnership and enable the club to get more active within the community!!'
According to Tommy Griffin: Waterford United FC First Team Manager, 'one of my aims as first team manager of Waterford United FC is to develop structures on and off the pitch.By partnering with the FAI Project FUTSAL Hub in Waterford this will help us in our aim to run a proper "football in the community" structure and get kids both interested in playing football and becoming Waterford United supporters. We have a number of plans in place and we envisage this will be a great success for everyone'.
FAI Project FUTSAL/Waterford United FC Community Football Camp will take place on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st February from 10am-2pm in Williamstown Sports Complex, John's Park, Waterford.
This two day community camp is open to all primary school children and bookings and spaces are limited.Cost of the camp is €20 per child for both days and sibling discount of just €10 for an additional brother or sister. To book a place please email gary.power@fai.ie
