3-on-3 Basketball

Waterford Sports Partnership is hosting an initiative for young people to introduce them to Basketball and is running a 3 on 3 Basketball event for two age groups 16/15 & 14/13 year olds.

This fun event is for boys & girls and teams will consist of four players. Teams will not be mixed. The emphasis of this event is not on winning, but rather on promoting participation particulary for young people who may not of have played Basketball before. As a result, no final will be played with each young person playing equal amount of games.

The details are as follows:
Date: Saturday 28th April 2012
Venue: St. Paul’s Community College, Waterford
Time: 1.30pm-3.30pm
Cost: € 10 per team

Each team must be accompanied by a responsible adult (over 18 yrs). If this activity is of interest to you, please complete and return a registration form by Thursday 19th April 2012.
